More Than a Daycare.

A Place To Belong.

For more than 15 years, My Little Genius has been a place where children are loved, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated for exactly who they are. We believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Here, every child is given the space to learn, play, build confidence, and grow at their own pace.

Meet the Founder & Director

Hi and welcome!

When I started My Little Genius more than 15 years ago, it grew from something very personal; my experience as a mother and my belief in just how much children are capable of when they are surrounded by love, encouragement, consistency, and opportunities to learn.

I have always believed in the power of unconditional love, positive attention, praise, and making learning something children genuinely enjoy. Before children can confidently explore the world around them, they need to feel safe, secure, valued, and connected to the adults caring for them. That belief has remained at the heart of My Little Genius from the very beginning.

The name My Little Genius was actually inspired by my own two sons. Watching how quickly they learned as babies fascinated me. They were little sponges eager to absorb everything I taught them. No two kids will ever be alike. I saw their individual potentials and I was determined to help both of them fulfill them to the fullest. It inspired me to create an environment where other children could receive that same encouragement not because every child develops in exactly the same way, but because every child has their own strengths, abilities, interests, and potential worth nurturing. One of our greatest missions is to meet each child where they are, nurture who they are, and help them reach their own highest potential.

My own journey has taken me through several different fields. My background includes healthcare, ten years of service with the New York City Fire Department as an EMT, training in theatre, and continued education in psychology and mental health counseling. Each experience has shaped the way I lead My Little Genius, from the importance I place on safety and responsibility to creativity, communication, emotional development, and understanding the whole child.

But above all, being a mother has always been one of the most meaningful roles of my life. I understand what it feels like to place your child in someone else’s care and hope that they will be treated with the same patience, affection, attention, and respect you would give them yourself. I have never taken that trust lightly.

Today, after 15 years, I still love watching children discover something for the first time, develop confidence, form friendships, find their voices, and become more independent. Some of our earliest Little Geniuses are now teenagers and young adults, which makes it even more meaningful to look back and know that we were part of the beginning of their journey.

My vision remains the same: to create a place where children can feel loved, learn with joy, grow with confidence, and be celebrated for exactly who they are.

Because at My Little Genius, we believe every child is a little genius!

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Every child develops in their own way, at their own pace, and brings something uniquely their own to the world. We believe our role is to provide the love, guidance, experiences, and encouragement that allow those individual strengths to grow.

Through nurturing relationships, a thoughtfully planned curriculum, hands-on experiences, creative exploration, and purposeful play, we support the whole child cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Our goal isn't for every child to learn the same things at the same time. It's to meet each child where they are, help them discover all of the amazing things they're capable of, and give them a strong foundation that will prepare them for whatever comes next.
